Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Dubai

Welcome the New Year with a gala dinner and fireworks, go dune bashing in the desert, and see Dubai and Abu Dhabi on city tours.

About Your Trip

Join the festivities this New Year’s Eve in Dubai, “The City of Gold”— an amazing way for you and your loved ones to start 2019! After a gala dinner party at the hotel, you’ll watch the night sky light up with the colorful bursts of fireworks set against the mighty Burj Khalifa in the background. From your enviable vantage point at the pool deck that overlooks the Dubai Water Canal, soak up these unforgettable views while creating lasting memories with your family and friends.

Explore one of the most beautiful cities in the Middle East, Abu Dhabi, where you are sure to be captivated by its magnificent wonders. Stop at the architecturally stunning Sheikh Zayed Mosque (the Grand Mosque), an important place of worship and one of the world’s largest mosques with 82 domes, crystal chandeliers and reflecting pools. Have a look around the legendary Emirates Palace hotel before heading to the Heritage Village, a living museum of the emirate’s desert life with demonstrations of traditional skills such as metalworking, pottery and rug weaving.

The next day, take to the streets of Dubai with a sightseeing tour that starts in Al Bastakiya, a neighborhood containing some of the city’s oldest buildings from the early 19th century. Explore Dubai Museum within Al Fahidi Fort (built in the late 18th century), the Grand Mosque and Ruler’s Court (or Diwan). Board an abra, or traditional boat, and cruise Dubai Creek before checking out Dubai Gold and Spice Souks.

Experience a desert safari to try your hand at dune bashing, camel riding and designing with henna. Also enjoy shisha — a traditional Middle Eastern water-pipe — and a barbecue dinner with memorable dance performances.

What we love:
• Welcome 2019 in style! Dubai is known internationally for hosting spectacular New Year’s Eve festivities — the city holds the honor of the largest fireworks display in 2014 by Guinness World Records™.
• The Dubai Gold and Spice Souks are known for extremely cheap gold, but you may have to haggle for it.
• Don’t forget your camera. Your exciting desert safari features prime opportunities for sunset photography.
